  • Host name of the accessing computer

This data is not merged with the personal data of a specific user.

The automated storage and processing of your data is necessary for your visit to my website in order to enable its delivery. It is also necessary to maintain the compatibility of the website for as many visitors as possible, to combat misuse and to eliminate malfunctions.

Logging the technical data of the accessing computer enables me to respond as quickly as possible to display errors, attacks on the IT system and/or errors in the functionality of my website and to optimise the website and its security.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the principle of lawfulness (Section 6(1) of the Data Protection Act) and the requirement of good faith (Section 6(2) of the Data Protection Act and Section 2 of the Civil Code).

The aforementioned technical data will be deleted as soon as it is no longer required.

Contact form

I store data transmitted via the contact form, including your contact details, in order to process your enquiry or to be available for follow-up questions. This data will not be passed on without your consent.

Your personal data will be processed in accordance with the principle of lawfulness (Section 6(1) of the Data Protection Act) and the requirement of good faith (Section 6(2) of the Data Protection Act and Section 2 of the Civil Code).

Storage period

Once your request has been processed, the stored data will be deleted. Mandatory legal provisions – in particular retention periods – remain unaffected.

Newsletter registration form

The email address provided in the registration form for my newsletter will be used exclusively for sending my newsletter, in which I will inform you about news.

After you register, I will send you a confirmation email with a link that you must click to confirm your registration for my newsletter (double opt-in). By doing so, you give me your consent to process your data in accordance with Art. 6(6) of the FADP.

Storage period

You can unsubscribe from my newsletter at any time using the unsubscribe link provided in each newsletter. I will delete your data immediately after you unsubscribe, provided that there are no legal retention requirements.

I will also delete your data if you do not complete your registration. I reserve the right to delete your data without giving reasons and without prior or subsequent notification.

Sharing your data with third parties

As a matter of principle, I only store your data for as long as necessary and treat it confidentially. An exception to this is the disclosure of your data to public bodies and authorities as well as private individuals who are entitled to it on the basis of legal provisions, court decisions or official orders.

Similarly, disclosure to authorities for the purpose of initiating legal proceedings or for law enforcement purposes is also excluded if my legally protected rights are violated.

Infomaniak may receive personal data about your visit to my website. Data processing is carried out exclusively in Switzerland in accordance with the data protection legislation applicable there.

My legitimate interest in transferring this personal data lies in the purpose of putting my website online and making it accessible. Infomaniak provides servers and storage space for websites.

Data security and data protection, communication by e-mail

Your personal data is protected from access by third parties through technical and organisational measures during collection, storage and processing.

In the case of unencrypted communication by e-mail, I cannot guarantee complete data security during transmission. For sensitive information, I recommend encrypted communication or postal delivery.

Storage period

I only store your personal data to the extent and for as long as is necessary to fulfil the purposes for which it was collected, I have a legitimate overriding interest in storing it, or I am legally obliged to do so.

Right to information

You have the right to request information about whether I process your personal data.

If this is the case, you have the right to obtain the information specified in sections 25 ff. of the FADP, provided that I cannot refuse, restrict or postpone the provision of this information (cf. Art. 26 f. FADP)

I will gladly provide you with a copy of the data.

Right to rectification

In accordance with Art. 32(1) of the FADP, you have the right to request that incorrectly stored personal data be corrected, provided that this request does not conflict with any legal obligations. You may also request at any time that the data stored by me be completed, which I will amend without delay.

Right to erasure

You have the right to have me delete the personal data collected about you if

  • the data is no longer required
  • the legal basis for processing has ceased to exist without replacement due to the withdrawal of your consent
  • there are no longer any legitimate reasons for processing
  • your data is being processed unlawfully
  • a legal obligation requires this

The right does not exist if

  • the processing is necessary for exercising the right of freedom of expression and information
  • your data has been collected on the basis of a legal obligation
  • the processing is necessary for reasons of public interest
  • the data is necessary for the establishment, exercise or defence of legal claims

Right of withdrawal

If you have given me your express consent to process your personal data (Art. 6(6) FADP and Art. 31(1) FADP), you may revoke this consent at any time. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of your consent until revocation.

Information that I am legally obliged to retain will be deleted after the retention period has expired.

Right to data portability

I will provide you with the following data upon request:

  • data that I have received from you within the framework of existing contracts (Art. 31(2)(a) FADP)
  • data that has been processed within the framework of an automated procedure

I will transfer your personal data directly to a controller of your choice, provided this is technically feasible.

Please note that, in accordance with Section 26(1)(b) of the Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP), I am not permitted to transfer data that interferes with the overriding interests of third parties, or may only do so to a limited extent.

According to Art. 49 FADP, affected persons may file a complaint with the supervisory authority if there are sufficient indications that data processing may violate data protection regulations.

The supervisory authority for data protection in Switzerland is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
